With over 16 years of experience in the mortgage and private lending space, Catherine is the strategist behind your mortgage plan. She works directly with clients to craft solutions that align with their goals, whether that’s buying a first home, investing in property, or refinancing for long-term savings.

Her process is rooted in education, transparency, and forward planning. Catherine stays deeply involved in every file, ensuring that the advice you receive is thoughtful, tailored, and grounded in a full understanding of your life and financial picture.

Madeline — Client Care Coordinator & Unlicensed Mortgage Assistant (Pre-Approvals & Purchases)

Madeline supports clients in the pre-approval & purchase process to ensure it is as seamless as possible. She supports new clients and buyers in gathering documents, answering early questions, and making sure we’re fully prepared when it’s time to lock in your mortgage options and have a clear understanding of your options, for Catherine to support you with.

She helps you to get started confidently, with everything in order before offers or decisions need to be made. This allows Catherine to focus on building your strategy, plan, and options, whilst having you supported and informed every step of the way.

Ruth Thakkar — Client Care Coordinator & Unlicensed Mortgage Assistant (Refinances & Renewals)

We’re excited to welcome Ruth Thakkar to the team! Ruth joins us as a co-op student from UBC Okanagan, where she is majoring in Business Management with a minor in Economics.

Ruth will be supporting our existing clients with annual mortgage reviews, refinancing preparations, and renewals. She’ll be working closely with Catherine to ensure all the right details and documents are in place to help Catherine build strong renewal and refinance strategies.

Expect to hear from Ruth in the weeks ahead if your mortgage is coming up for review. We’re thrilled to have her on board.

Kris — Executive Assistant

Kris keeps everything running behind the scenes so Catherine can stay focused on strategy and problem-solving. She manages scheduling, communication logistics, and internal systems that allow our team to work efficiently and stay on track with our timelines.

Kris is a master of coordination and helps create the structure that keeps our client experience both smooth and stress-free.

Tawny — Chief Paw-sitivity Officer (CPO)

As our Chief Paw-sitivity Officer, Tawny’s job is to keep the office calm, cozy, and full of smiles. She’s a certified service dog who assists her mum (Catherine) with day-to-day tasks and takes her job very seriously.

When she’s not offering cuddles or supervising from her favourite blanket pile, you can find her proudly carrying around her latest rock discovery or curled up in the coziest corner of the office.
