It’s be
en an incredible few weeks and wanted to share my latest round of news (as teased a few weeks ago); we are now property owners on the incredibly beautiful Pender Island! I had been thinking about a secondary property for a while and keeping an eye on the market and things in general over here as I’ve always had a deep love for the coast. When this little place came across my radar there was something about it that was instantly intriguing. On top of that, the timing was very serendipitous as my lovely sister (shout-out Laura and Ryan) was getting married just down the road from here a few weeks back. While there, I checked it out along with my partner, Andrew, and we both instantly fell in love with the place and Pender as a whole and we know we had to make it happen. It was a whirlwind of offers and research and getting over here from the Okanagan but all is well that ends well and even more so, that gave me the idea to come with a ‘Mortgage Diary’ of sorts so look for further updates as I relate the process of searching for and acquiring a secondary property as I help navigate you through the process from an insiders position to make sure things go as smoothly as they can and avoid any potential hic-cups that might come along the way.
